SCOTT AND ELEANOR – HAARLEM MILL
THE WEDDING DAY – SEPTEMBER 25TH 2021
I first met up with Scott and Eleanor for a preshoot back in July, they are a lovely couple and they spoke of their epic wedding plans at the fantastic venue Haarlem Mill in Wirksworth – I couldn’t wait!
I arrived at the venue early in the morning to find a low mist in the valley and crossed my fingers it would lift. I met up with Ross from Epic Media and one of my photographers, Laura, and we headed inside to see Eleanor and her bridal party.
The venue looked amazing and so did Eleanor who was just having her hair and makeup finished off. I took a few shots of Eleanor getting ready before having a walk around the venue with Ross and Laura to see where would could capture the best pictures later on.
We took Eleanors stunning Maggie Sottero wedding dress and created some incredible shots in the ceremony room which looked ace decked out with the banner by the ever talented Darwin and Grey.
As Scott arrived, I nipped to see him and his groomsmen who were having a drink in the bar. They all looked awesome in their Marc Darcy suits and Scott’s shoes were something else!
It was then back up to the bridal suite as Eleanor was helped into her dress by her mum – she looked absolutely beautiful! A quick chance to have a moment to herself before it was time to make her way for the big event.
The guests were seated and Scott looked a little nervous now as his best man and I tried to help calm his nerves before the arrival of Eleanor. As the ceremony music began to play, Scott turned to see Eleanor being walked down the aisle – it was an unmissable moment as their eyes met.
It was a wonderful ceremony with some lovely readings and emotional vows and “I do’s.” After the ceremony was complete, we headed outside for some great confetti throwing and lots of pictures around the venue.
It was then time for the reception which included some brilliant tricks from the infamous magician, Paul Grundle followed by food and cracking speeches.
The night do consisted of lots and drinking, dancing, celebrating and a whole lot of love and laughter with family and friends.
I loved your wedding day and am so glad I could be part of it. I wish you both all the best.
