Fox and Goose, Chesterfield
I met up with Lorna as she was starting to get ready with her bridesmaids over in Chesterfield. The damp and gloomy weather outside didn’t stop the excitement and laughter inside, and, after capturing some detailing shots, I knew this was going to be a good day.
Lorna looked lovely and her beautiful dress had one of the longest trains I had seen yet. Straight away it got me thinking how we could photograph it throughout the day!
We then made our way to the Annunciation Church in Chesterfield where I met up with Giles, my second photographer, and Ian who had just been in to speak to the Deacon. Ian was full of laughs and smiles and he didn’t seem to be suffering from the well renowned wedding jitters in the slightest.
It was then time for Lorna’s big entrance and Ian turned to watch as she was walked down the Aisle – with the backdrop of the picturesque church, it looked an amazing sight.
Kisses and smiles all round as Ian and Lorna tied the knot in the presence of their family and friends in a wonderful ceremony before it was time to head up to the Fox and Goose to continue the celebrations.
As Paul entertained with his card wizardry, the guests and newlyweds enjoyed a fantastic wedding reception. I hope we captured the day just how Ian and Lorna had wanted so they have many great memories to keep forever.
Thanks for a brilliant day and allowing me to be a part of it. I wish you all the best…. Matt
