CHRIS AND JENNY – LOSEHILL HOUSE

THE WEDDING DAY – SUNDAY 29TH MAY 2022

Chris and Jenny asked me to capture their wedding and told me of their wedding plans and they sounded fantastic. Plus the venue was Losehill which is an amazing venue nestled in the heart of the Peak District and it’s one that’s close to my heart as it’s where my brother and sister in law got married so it always brings back lovely memories.

WEDDING MORNING

I met up with Jenny and the girls at her home in Chesterfield, where hair and makeup were well under way. It was a nice chilled out atmosphere as the girls chatted and prepared for the big day.

The day started in style as Jenny was suprised with an incredible surpise gift by Chris which nearly caused her makeup to run!

After some lovely getting ready shots, I made my way up to the venue where I met up with Chris and his best man and some of the guests who had started to arrive.

Chris looked amazing and then it hit me -we were wearing the same suit! The man has good taste. And at least I could step in if any of the groomsmen didnt turn up.

As I headed back to see Jenny, she was being helped into her gorgeous dress by her mum before having the big reveal for her bridesmaids and dad – it was an absolutely lovely moment and Jenny looked absolutely stunning.

It was then time for the ceremony which was held outisde overlooking the gorgous views of Losehill. As some beautiful music was sang by Georgie Harrison, Jenny was led down the aisle by her sons towards a very proud Chris.

It was a fantastic ceremony was in the presence of all their close family and friends. After they said their “I-do’s,” it was time for a great confetti tunnel followed by drinks in the garden in the warm sunshine.

We then headed inside where we were entertained by some great speeches and cracking toasts to the happy couple.

I then just had to take the newlyweds for some photos around the grounds with the rolling hills as a backdop before they headed back inside for dancing, sparklers and crazy costumes.

It was the perfect wedding day for a genuinely perfect couple and I am so pleased I was able to be part of it. Thank you so much guys and I wish you both all the best….
