ADAM AND NATALIE – PEAK EDGE HOTEL
THE WEDDING DAY – SATURDAY 18TH JUNE 2022
I first met with Adam and Natalie for a pre shoot at Ashover Rock near Chesterfield, I knew straight away that they were my kind of people and it was going to be an awesome wedding.
On the morning of the wedding, I met up with Natalie and her mum who were having their make up done with the amazing Julie from Sparkle and Glitz. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere with plenty of banter which was the ideal scenario for capturing the start of Natalies perfect day. Natalie had even made me some delicious pre-wedding sandwiches which I quickly ate before I headed off to capture some shots of her amazing Ronald Joyce wedding dress.
After an emotional first reveal to her dad, we all headed over to St Lawrence Church, were I met up with Adam and the wedding guests.
Adam nervously awaited the arrival of Natalie who was making her way over to the church in a vintage wedding car.
I quickly nipped into the church where Adam was with his best man, Josh, who was doing a great job of keeping Adam calm and ensuring everything was running as it should.
As Natalie entered the church, she looked absolutely stunning. She walked down the aisle to Adam who took a little glance at her and his smile said it all.
After a lovely traditional ceremony, we headed out for some family pictures and a great confetti tunnel. Adam and Natalie looked super happy together so it was easy to get some really beautiful shots of them.
We then headed across town to the Peak Edge Hotel to enjoy the rest of their wedding day. Peak Edge is one of my favourite Derbyshire wedding venues – the wedding co-ordinators and staff are the best, the venue and rooms are incredible and it has a genuinely great atmosphere.
The weather kept threatening rain but we were lucky and managed to get some pictures around the stunning grounds overlooking the hills of Derbyshire. We even got a cheeky photo next to one of the guests helicopters.
We then headed inside where it was time for some great speeches and cracking toasts to the happy couple.
After a lovely first dance, Adam collected his trusty guitar and played several amazing tracks with his band who played well into the night. It was made even better when Natalie jumped on the keyboard and helped wow their family and friends.
Fun, laughter, happy tears and dancing – this wedding had it all and I am so pleased I was able to be part of it. Thank you so much guys and I wish you both all the best….
